Description:
The Greenville Parks and Recreation department works to enrich the quality of life of residents and visitors by providing recreational opportunities for our present and future generations. The challenge and commitment is to provide the best quality recreation opportunities possible for the residents of Greenville and supported areas. The purpose of this survey is to determine citizen satisfaction with, and perceived gaps in, programs and services. Results of the study will be used to assist with future decision making within the Greenville Park and Recreation Department.

The Sport and Recreation and Administration program at the University of Mississippi has partnered with the Greenville Park and Recreation department to conduct this survey.  We ask you to invest approximately 15 to 20 minutes to complete the survey.      

Benefits:
The results of the comprehensive survey may benefit the community by providing guidance towards better programming, services, amenities and facilities.

Costs:   
Participation in this project will incur no cost to you or the City of Greenville! At the conclusion of the study, results will be made available to the public through reports and presentations by Greenville city officials.

Confidentiality:
No identifying information will be recorded, therefore we don’t believe you can be identified from this study.

Right to Withdraw:

You are free to refuse to complete this study or to withdraw from the study at any time without any penalty. You may leave the survey at anytime.

IRB Approval:
This study has been reviewed by The University of Mississippi’s Institutional Review Board (IRB). The IRB has determined that this study fulfills the human research subject protection obligations required by state and federal law and University policies.
