Collection Request - Unwanted Green Bin

We are organising a one-off collection of unwanted green wheelie bins.

Any bins purchased before the introduction of our Garden Waste Subscription Scheme remain the property of the resident. Any unwanted bins must be disposed of in a responsible way. Abandoned bins will be classed as flytipping.

If you would like us to collect your bin, please ensure it is:

Empty – bins that contain any waste will not be collected. You can dispose of any contents at Hazel Court HWRC or Towthorpe and Strensall HWRC

Presented at the kerbside collection point on the specified date

If you are in receipt of an assisted collection, we will contact you to agree collection arrangements.

The collected bins will be recycled. Alternatively, you may wish to keep and adapt your bin, for example, for storage or composting.

Our survey asks for some personal information which you may choose not to give. We do not publish or share any information which can identify you.
