2019 Spring Break Job Shadow - Greater Minnesota and other states by special request.

Sign up to shadow an attorney or judge in Greater Minnesota during spring break (March 9-15). Applications are due by Friday, March 1st. Matches will be made on a first-come first-serve basis. After submitting your application, you will be asked to provide a copy of your resume and schedule a brief meeting by phone or in-person with Sharon Goodyear in the Career & Professional Development Office, to discuss the program and your interests.

When you are matched with an attorney or judge, call or email him/her to confirm your appointment and schedule a specific meeting time. Students are responsible for their own transportation. Make sure you have directions and allow enough travel time.

As a student, I understand that attorneys and judges have busy schedules and are volunteering their time. I agree to: (1) contact the attorney or judge to whom I am assigned to schedule/arrange my visit (2) meet with the attorney or judge (3) send a thank you note after my visit, and (4) in case of an emergency that I cannot meet with the attorney or judge during spring break, I will contact the attorney or judge to reschedule my appointment. In addition, I will contact Sharon Goodyear in the Career & Professional Development Office - Sharon.goodyear@mitchellhamline.edu or 651-290-7508.
