Welcome to Get your Gong on!

The Freelance Jungle is looking for Illawarra based freelancers and creatives for “Get ya Gong On!”. This is a virtual networking event designed to help connect local Wollongong businesses with freelance talent.

The idea is to act as a brainstorming collective that uses their creative talents and digital knowledge to help Wollongong and surrounds. It’s less about marketing and more about inviting tired, scared, and struggling businesses to open up to creativity as a problem-solving artform with the help of creative practitioners and freelancers do it for a living.

We recognise that small business, freelancing and operations such as tourism and hospitality are the lifeblood of many coastal, regional, and rural communities. We want to help our fellow self-employed people get back on their feet through practical donation of skills, mentorship, and education. We also want to promote ourselves as viable, local, and enthusiastic talent that is a big part of the Illawarra business scene.

By responding to this survey, you are saying you're willing to give of your skills and business acumen to help businesses who need a helping hand. You also agree to participate in a virtual networking event with local businesses.
