The Town of Goderich Welcome Project was created to help welcome new residents to the Town. This project will focus on creating the welcome booklet, connecting with realtors and landlords and partnerships with local groups and organizations.

This survey is specifically about the Goderich Welcome Booklet, This is a vital tool for making a good first impression, cultivating positive feelings toward the community, and potentially getting someone involved as a volunteer down the road. The contents will include: Welcome Letter from the Mayor, list of community organizations, frequently needed community rules and regulations (waste, recycling, emergency preparedness, animal control, noise, short term rental), Amenities and links to the amenities (health care, education, library, major experiences, event list, recreation etc.) and FAQ’s. We need your feedback to make sure this booklet is helpful for all new residents.

The Town of Goderich will work with Engage Goderich, The Huron Chamber and the Goderich BIA to ensure there is no duplication of projects, complete projects more efficiently and to keep communication clear.
