Global Poker Source of Funds Check
As part of our routine security and regulatory obligations, we are required to carry out additional checks on your source of funds used to make purchases at Global Poker. Please complete the following questionnaire to confirm your sources of income and ensure you can continue to enjoy playing on Global Poker.
Important points to remember:
The purpose of this questionnaire is to confirm that the funds you have used to purchase Gold Coins have come from a legitimate source. The documentary evidence that you provide will need to show funds at least equal to the amount you have spent purchasing Gold Coins packages on our platform.
The documentation that you submit will be viewed only by our Compliance Team and will be treated with confidentiality at all times. It will not be used for any other purposes.
We recognise that this is a personal request and understand that you may wish to redact certain information such as your social security number or personal details of those not directly involved in this request. We support you to do so, however, ask that you do not redact any information that is required to satisfy the requirement of the source of funds check such as amounts deposited and the source of those deposits.
Your name and the date of the document must be clearly visible on documents you provide.
Tax self-assessments or documents prepared by you are not acceptable (such as the self prepared 1040 form). We require proof that the document has actually been submitted/filed. This is usually in the form of an acknowledgement record from the IRS or a tax return transcript (this should be dated and should be the most recent one filed). Your most recent W-2 Wage and Tax Statement (usually issued by employers) is also acceptable.
Please note you will be able to select more than one ‘source of income’ option later in the survey. We encourage you to take into consideration the funds you have spent with us when filling out the survey and to select as many sources as is relevant.
If you are unsure of which option to select, please select “Other” and provide an explanation in the text box provided.
You are only able to upload ONE document per question, however, if you have multiple documents that you would like to submit, you will be given the opportunity to upload more at the end of the questionnaire.
