2017-18 Girls' Soccer Tryout Registration and Information (5th -8th Grade)

Girls Soccer Information

The Lutz Prep Consent Form & Liability Waiver Online Form must be completed and the HCPS Sports Physical must be turned into school by Wednesday, January 10th by 9:00 AM in order to participate in tryouts.

Season Information

Tryouts are Wednesday (Jan 10th until 4:30) and Thursday (Jan 11th – 5:00) after school.
Preseason practices will start 1/15 and be done on days determined by the coaches from after school until 4:30 until the regular season starts.
Games will be played typically on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4:30 – 5:30 or 5:30 – 6:30. Practices will be on Mondays and Wednesdays directly after school until 4:30 PM. The regular season runs from 1/30-2/28.
Please know that this is a competitive team and playing time is NOT guaranteed. The coaches will do their best to win the game and THEN try to distribute time to all players as they seem fit.

$140 participation fee paid online at the school store.

If your student/athlete is interested in trying out, please make sure their sports physical has been turned in and you have read ALL of the information.

Tryout Information

Wednesday, January 10th after school until 4:30 PM and Thursday, January 11th after school until 5:00 PM.

Please bring appropriate soccer clothing and footwear (cleats not required) to change into for tryouts.
After dismissal students will be led into the gym (if necessary) where the coaches and Coach Mollick will be waiting. They will then change out and participate in tryouts.
Pickup will take place at the back of the school by the picnic tables after tryouts. If you are more than 10 minutes late your student will be escorted to the Pre-Prep building for aftercare where parents will be responsible for any charges incurred.
