A gender justice hub: tell us what you need
We are exploring the creation of a global gender justice hub, and we need your input.
Global 50/50 is an independent think tank that informs, inspires and incites action and accountability for gender justice. Since 2017 we have tracked the policies, practices and leadership of hundreds of institutions worldwide.
Gender justice advocates face a coordinated, well-resourced and digitally organised countermovement. Those working for equality often lack a shared space for the information, tools and opportunities needed to respond. Grants, jobs, events research, evidence, and narrative guidance are scattered across platforms, making it hard to stay informed and connected.
We are exploring how to help fix this. Across four convenings and a survey this year, more than 150 gender justice leaders told us the field needs better shared infrastructure, as set out in The Organised Many, a gender justice agenda for action.
This survey is the next step: we want to hear from the wider community. Your answers will shape whether we build anything, and what form this takes.
The survey takes approximately 10-15 minutes; you can skip questions and exit the survey at any point. For any questions, please contact info@global5050.org.
Please share it with others working in this space.

About the survey and your data
Anonymity and confidentiality: This survey is anonymous. We do not collect names, contact details, IP addresses, or other direct identifiers, and we will not seek to attribute responses to individuals or organisations. We cannot guarantee complete anonymity if identifiable details are included in your open-text answers, so please see the note below on what to leave out. Because responses are anonymous, we will not be able to find and remove your response once you have submitted it.
Sensitive content: Some questions relate to challenges in your work. Please share only what you feel comfortable disclosing. To protect your anonymity and that of others, please do not include names, organisations, locations, or specific events that could identify individuals or organisations. We are not able to respond to individual accounts or take up specific cases through this survey. If you are considering taking part from a context where this work carries risk, you may wish to use a private browsing window and a non-work device.
Data use and storage: Responses will be used to inform whether and how Global 50/50 develops digital infrastructure to support the gender justice movement. Where we quote individual responses, including from open-text answers, these will be fully anonymised and any identifying details removed. We will not sell your responses, or share them with third parties for their own purposes, and we will not use your responses to train AI models. Responses will be stored securely and accessible only to the Global 50/50 team and our survey platform provider, Survey Monkey, and will be reviewed to remove any identifying details before analysis. Raw data will be deleted three months after analysis.
Who is responsible for your data: Global Health 50/50 is the data controller for this survey. Any personal data is processed in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018, on the basis of your consent, which you give by proceeding. The survey is hosted on SurveyMonkey, which processes responses on our behalf and stores them on servers outside the UK, including in the United States; where data is transferred internationally it is protected by appropriate safeguards, including Standard Contractual Clauses with the UK Addendum and the UK Extension to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework. SurveyMonkey's privacy notice can be found here.
You have rights over any personal data we hold about you under the UK GDPR, including the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Because the survey is anonymous, once you submit your responses we cannot identify, retrieve, amend or delete them, so we are unable to act on a request to access or withdraw your individual responses after submission. If you have any questions about how we handle your data, please contact us at info@global5050.org.
