The Robert Noyce Scholarship Program, named for a pioneer of semiconductor development and founder of the semiconductor industry, seeks to encourage talented mathematics and science students to pursue teaching careers in high need schools.

The applicant for the Noyce Scholarship program is looking to receive up to $12,000 per year, for up to 2 years, in scholarships. Funding carries with it a service obligation. In exchange for the scholarship, the recipient agrees, upon completion of all requirements for certification through the FIUteach program, to teach in a high­ need school for two years for each year of scholarship assistance.
