Thank you for your interest in hosting the 9th TAFISA World Sport for All Games 2032
Before commencing the application process, ensure that you have all required documents ready for upload. These include:
- Bid Dossier outlining your vision, concept, and delivery plan for the Games
- Preliminary Games Budget Forecast
- Letter signed by the legal representative of the applicant organisation confirming its intention to bid for the 9th TAFISA World Sport for All Games 2032
- Letters of support from relevant stakeholders and supporting bodies (e.g. national government, local government, national sport authorities, tourism authorities, National Olympic Committee, and other key partners)
The deadline for the submission of applications is 15 April 2027. Applications received after this date may not be considered.
Applicants may, at their own expense, invite representatives of TAFISA to participate in meetings or consultations in support of their bid preparation. TAFISA reserves the right to provide similar support and guidance to all applicants on an equal and non-discriminatory basis.
Upon receipt of a complete application, TAFISA will review the submitted materials and may contact the applicant for further discussions, clarifications, or requests for additional information. This process may include meetings with key stakeholders and a site inspection visit to the proposed host destination.
Following the evaluation process and subject to approval by the TAFISA Board of Directors, selected applicants will be designated as Official Bidders for the 9th TAFISA World Sport for All Games 2032. At this stage, a preliminary host agreement may be signed between TAFISA and the bidding organisation. Such agreement shall only become valid should the bid be elected by the TAFISA General Assembly.
The host of the 9th TAFISA World Sport for All Games 2032 will be elected by the TAFISA General Assembly during the 30th TAFISA World Congress in Gaborone, Botswana, in October 2027.
Official Bidders will be invited to present their candidature to the General Assembly in support of their bid. Additional written materials and promotional documents may also be distributed to delegates.
Following the election of the host by the General Assembly, the Host Contract between TAFISA and the successful organisation(s) will enter into force.
