Galway County Council Arts Plan 2019-2023 Consultation

Galway County Council Arts Office seeks valuable feedback from professional arts practitioners to inform its first Arts Plan in a decade. This plan will  reflect changes in the artistic landscape and possible legacy from Galway 2020, the European Capital of Culture. It will address how working in this new context, areas will be prioritised for investment over the period of the plan and will take a policy approach which is driven by strategic objectives.

We plan to identify how to support the growth and continuing development of the arts, not only encompassing Galway County’s needs and ambitions but also placing them within the overall context of local, regional and national strategy for the Arts.
