Remote Inspections for Centres

This short survey is to establish the technical capacity of centres to engage with remote assessments via videoconferencing and file-sharing solutions.

It also asks if hospitals will permit recording or live streaming of tours of the relevant services to allow inspectors assess the physical facilties and how the services/locations relate to each other.

Please note that the solutions we recommend (Microsoft online solutions and Gotomeeting) are both GDPR compliant.
1.Address(Required.)
2.JACIE proposes to use Microsoft online solutions (Sharepoint, Teams and Outlook) for the remote process because it supports online meetings and file-sharing in a secure and organized manner. Does your hospital permit you to use these solutions? Please Note that we will create a license at no cost that will include all these services and we will also provide a document for your IT department to know the exact links they will need to open the access to.(Required.)
3.If you answered no, can you use the following videoconference solutions ?
4.Would your hospital permit you to record video tours of your facilities and a mock process and share these with JACIE for assessment purposes? Please consider any legal aspects concerning privacy or similar.(Required.)
5.File sharing: If the Microsoft online apps cannot be used, does your hospital permit users to access other cloud-based platforms?
6.Would your hospital permit you to live-stream your facilities via Whatsapp or similar? In this case, the tour would not be recorded but would be 'live'.(Required.)
7.Do you have IT support?(Required.)
8.We anticipate that inspections will be distributed over 3 consecutive days. The inspectors should be able to call on assistance from the applicant team at any time during 4 hour periods each day e.g. 0900-1300. Support would consist primarily of supplying files or documentation or obtaining information from other colleagues on request from the inspectors. Every effort would be made to coodinate schedules to avoid conflicting demands for support.
Do you consider it feasible to provide this level of support?
(Required.)
9.Has your hospital undergone remote assessment by any other organisation e.g. health authorities, commercial organisations
