The Nonprofit Impact Team is a program of the Trauma Prevention Initiative of The Office of Violence Prevention, Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. This program is funded by the Los Angeles County Probation Department.
Small CBOs often struggle with organizational challenges that larger CBOs do not. The COVID-19 pandemic has amplified and created unprecedented organizational disruptions in our communities. We are offering FREE, SHORT-TERM, technical assistance to community-based nonprofits who need help addressing organizational challenges, including those resulting from COVID-19. To be eligible to receive this free assistance, your organization must be located in Los Angeles County and serve youth and/or families who have been either: Involved in the juvenile justice system; At-risk of being involved in the juvenile justice system; or Impacted by violence and trauma.
The Nonprofit Impact Team is composed of organizational capacity building specialists who can help you address issues in the following areas: Fund Development & Grant Resources; Marketing & Communications; Organizational & Operational Development; and Data & Evaluation.
