Welcome to Project Abraham's Homework Club. We match, in weekly one-on-one sessions, qualified tutors and school children from kindergarten to Grade 12 who have barriers to learning and/or belong to newcomer families. Our customized tutoring is designed to help students develop and improve based on their individual needs, so that they can progress and not be left behind.
We need the following information to enroll your child. If you are enrolling more than one child, please complete a separate form for each child.
If the person completing this application is a Teacher or Translator, the Parent(s) or Legal Guardian must have given permission for you to complete the enrollment application on their behalf.
Completing this form means the Parent(s) or Legal Guardian give Project Abraham permission to maintain the private data in this form while your child is participating in the Homework Club.
At present, there is a great demand for tutoring services and thus in-person tutoring is limited. Your willingness to accept online tutoring will enhance the probability of matching your student with a tutor. If your child is accepted for in-person tutoring, the sessions will take place in your home. Once accepted into our program, you will be contacted by one of our staff members to finalize the tutoring schedule.
Please be advised that filling in this form does not guarantee enrollment in Project Abraham's Homework Club. Both the York Region District School Board and the York Catholic District School Board have other tutoring programs available and we encourage you to register your child for these as well.
