Common sowthistle is one of the most widespread broadleaf weeds in the northern cropping region. It was once predominantly a winter weed but has now become a management challenge in nearly all seasons.

Although management in crop can be challenging, control issues are more frequently experienced in fallow situations. Increasing levels of glyphosate resistance are a major threat to achieving 'clean' fallows.

This survey is an important tool to help:

1. Provide a snapshot of current common sowthistle management practices and constraints
2. Determine the impact of NGA activity on the level of understanding and adoption of common sowthistle management practices
3. Identify additional gaps in R,D & E or management knowledge

We greatly appreciate your input, time and feedback.
