Queenstown Lakes District Council and Central Otago District Council are undertaking a subregional Industrial Land Study to better understand current and future industrial land needs across the Queenstown Lakes and Central Otago subregion.

As part of this work, we are inviting businesses, landowners, developers, infrastructure providers and industry representatives to register their interest in attending an industry workshop during August 2026.

The workshop will be run by The Property Group and provide an opportunity to share practical insights on current industrial land requirements, future growth needs, infrastructure and access constraints, and the types of industrial land and premises that may be needed over the next 30 years.
