The GSAL page includes new safety procedures for 2025 - please read this in detail even if you came to sessions at GSAL in 2024!

These pages also explain how the sessions work including the booking / confirmation / cancellation procedures and that if you don't confirm by 2pm Tuesday you may lose your place and that if you cancel after 2pm Tuesday you'll get a lower priority for the next session you've booked.

Note that all the session start times have been brought forward by 5 minutes to allow time for the equipment to be cleared after the third timeslot before the rugby players take over the pitches.

3.1st July at Leos ("C" group at GSAL) - please tick the session times you are available - please select as many as possible and indicate priority if you choose more than one(Required.)
4.8th July at GSAL ("C" group at Beckett Park) - please tick the session times you are available - please select as many as possible and indicate priority if you choose more than one(Required.)
5.15th July - Golden Acre Relays - use Facebook to create / request teams - all training cancelled
6.22nd July at GSAL ("C" group at TBA) - please tick the session times you are available - please select as many as possible and indicate priority if you choose more than one(Required.)
7.29th July at Leos ("C" group at Bodington) - please tick the session times you are available - please select as many as possible and indicate priority if you choose more than one(Required.)

9.I UNDERSTAND THAT I AM RESPONSIBLE FOR ASSURING MYSELF OF THE WELFARE OF MY CHILD DURING THE SESSION.
  • Before the session I will check whether my child needs to use the toilet. IT SIGNIFICANTLY DISRUPTS THE SESSION IF A CHILD NEEDS TO GO TO THE TOILET DURING THE SESSION AS TWO ADULTS MUST ACCOMPANY THEM
  • I will deliver my child to their leader
  • I will stay on the rugby field (Leos) or athletics track (GSAL)
  • Or, at Leos, I may stay in my car but I will let their leader know when I hand over my child and inform them where I will be onsite and also fill in the form by the clubhouse with my phone number, the make, colour and registration number of my car and which car park I am parked in. THIS IS NOW MANDATORY AS PART OF OUR STANDARD SAFETY PROCEDURES
  • At GSAL I know I cannot go back to may car for more than 3 minutes (e.g. for a forgotten water bottle or item of kit). If I have to do this I will let the leader know.
  • if I have to go offsite I will nominate another parent to be responsible for my child. I will let the leader know who it is and will fill in my details on the form by the clubhouse
  • I will be at the edge of the rugby field / athletics track before the end of the session to collect my child
