The City of Topeka is committed to ensuring that all residents and visitors have equal access to its programs, services, and activities.

This survey is part of the City's American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Self-Evaluation process. The ADA is a federal civil rights law that requires public agencies to provide equal access to people with disabilities in all programs, services activities, and facilities.

The purpose of this survey is to gather input from the public, especially individuals with disabilities, their families, and advocates, about any barriers to accessibility they have encountered when accessing City facilities, services, or communications. Your feedback will help the city identify areas for improvement and develop a Transition Plan to enhance accessibility. Participation is voluntary, and responses will remain confidential.

While the City's Self-Evaluation is focused only on City buildings, the City is also interested in public input on accessibility issues in other areas such City sidewalks, curb ramps, street crossings.
