Intro & Instructions

Dear Colleagues,

The Work Relationships working group, tasked by Dr. Ed Healton last spring, was recently given the opportunity to engage with faculty and staff to think of ways to strengthen and improve work relationships throughout the Georgetown University Medical Center. Read more here: https://gumc.georgetown.edu/gumcengagement. In this working group's initial research, four themes emerged:

- Ongoing engagement and consultation
-Transparency and full disclosure
-Culture of support
-Mutual accountability and respect

Given these initial findings, we would like to benchmark where we are right now as a community regarding how work life is going for staff and faculty across GUMC. Your feedback is crucial and we hope that you give us your perspectives.

Your feedback is also anonymous. Any data that we receive will be rolled up in an aggregate form across GUMC. We appreciate your candor and honesty. Please respond by Friday, October 7. (Deadline has been extended!)

OPTIONAL: At the end of the survey, you will have the option to enter your contact information for a lunch drawing. There will be 8 chances to win a lunch for 2 at the Faculty Club when you finish the survey. If you want to enter the lunch drawing, you may choose to enter in your contact information at the end. This is completely optional.

Thanks again for your time and support.

Sincerely,
Annie Alston, Susan Cheng, Bonnie Green, Nancy Harazduk, Del Reese, David Taylor Rebecca Warren
Members of the Work Relationships Subcommittee
