Impaired Driving Assessment Training Need

Effective December 31, 2024, the objective test, Adult Substance Use and Driving Survey - Revised for Illinois (ASUDS-RI) will no longer be available. Effective July 1st, 2025, IDHS/SUPR will no longer support the objective test, Mortimer-Filkins Questionnaire. The Illinois Department of Human Services, Division of Substance Use Prevention and Recovery (IDHS-SUPR) is planning for the roll out of trainings for organizations that select and plan to administer the new objective test, Impaired Driving Assessment (IDA).
To effectively plan for initial and future training needs, IDHS/SUPR is gathering information to project the number of trainings that will be needed to support organizations that select this new objective test. IDHS/SUPR is requesting that each location licensed to provide DUI evaluation services complete the survey. The survey should take no more than 10 minutes to complete.
1.What organization do you work for?
2.What is the address of your organization?
3.Does your licensed location/site provide DUI evaluation services?
4.Does your licensed location need to select a new objective test?
5.If yes, are you selecting one of the following?
6.If you're planning on using the IDA, how many staff need to obtain certification?
7.Have you already attended an IDA training?
8.Does your organization have additional staff that need IDA training?
9.Are the staff registered for one of the upcoming trainings hosted by Prevention First scheduled in January 2025?
