6 board seats are up for election. The voting period will run from January 13th until 5:45 PM on January 22nd. Results will be announced at the 2026 Annual Meeting on January 22nd, 2026.
2026 Election Notice:
To align with our strategic plan, the BE+ Board has adopted the following framework to support greater participation by members and strengthen the diversity of our board across professions, areas of expertise/interest, as well as gender, age, race, and ethnicity. Seats are organized based on the following professional sectors: Design Consultants, Construction/Manufacturing, Owners/Operations, Policy/Advocacy, Other Fields not named above (e.g. Education, Utilities, Law, Community Development, Clean Energy, etc.). After the nomination period was completed, the Board and the Nominating Committee vetted the candidates and established the ballot that follows. Please note the following:
Members will rank their top six candidates for the open Construction/Manufacturing seat. The winner will be determined through a Ranked Choice Voting process that will eliminate the candidates with the lowest vote total and redistribute those votes to the members' next choice, until a candidate wins with the majority of votes.
