Deepen your skills, knowledge and confidence to facilitate meaningful STEAM learning opportunities with core content and Project-Based Learning (PBL) expert!
Discover an integrated approach to Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Math with essential foundational English Language Arts (ELA) content & English Language Development (ELD) strategies. adaptable to TK-12th grade settings.
Design a cohesive Expanded Learning program that includes: the CA Quality Standards for Expanded Learning, Growth Mindset, the 5E Model and the 6C's!
The fee for Non-ASES staff will be $150.00 per participant for all 2019-2020 6 Community of Practice sessions.

* 3. Please note an important requirement of all participants in the STEAM: Power of Discovery Initiative during the 2019-20 school year:

1. All staff named in this application understand that full participation in all sessions is required. Communities of Practice will occur from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM in Gilroy on the following dates: November 5th, December 17th, January 28th, February 4th, March 10th, and May 5th. I also understand that as a leader of my expanded program, I must attend, be responsive to our assigned STEAM Mentor and support staff during this process of continuous improvement. I also understand that my program may be asked to participate as a Lead Facilitator of Learning with the Region 5 STEAM partners.
