The Phoenix is the Governors State University official newspaper. This student run publication includes campus news and feature stories about GSU faculty, staff and students. The paper highlights events on campus and issues that effect our population. Issues of The Phoenix are published during the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms.

Currently we are seeking Staff for all areas of The Phoenix. Students who apply should have an interest in Journalism, Campus Involvement, and Current Events. The Phoenix will be adding an online component this coming year.
