Registration Information
The Emerging Leaders Program (ELP) immerses lower division students (freshmen and sophomores) in a process of personal development that lays the foundation for the exploration of leadership. ELP helps students answer the question "What type of leader do I want to be?" This is an experiential program wherein students participate in highly interactive workshops, activities, and discussions.
By actively engaging in this program, participants will:
1. Learn the various types/styles of leadership
2. Reflect on their optimal leadership/communication styles and how those styles impact their role as a student leader
3. Identify the necessary skills for maximizing leadership performance
4. Develop a coherent plan for involvement and student leadership experiences during their time at GSU

The deadline to register is Friday, October 13. Participants will be notified and given a schedule of events by Monday, October 16. ELP will meet on Thursdays from 3:30-5:30pm from October 19-November 30.
