Presentations must relate directly to the Body of Knowledge of both SHRM and HRCI. All presentations must qualify for HRCI General or Strategic re-certification credits and SHRM Professional Development Credits. GSHRM reserves the right to suggest edits prior to publication and/or submission to accrediting bodies.

Conference sessions range from 50 minutes to 90 minutes in length. Other membership meeting sessions are typically 50 to 60 minutes in length. Please come prepared with original content for the GSHRM audience and offer tactical advice to attendees. GSHRM does not typically pay speaker fees nor offer reimbursement for costs associated with presentations.

You may submit UP TO 3 TOPICS. If submitting proposals for multiple topics, complete a separate Speaker Proposal for EACH presentation proposed.

Submitted proposals will be reviewed for content, quality and relevance to program goals by a project team of practicing HR Professionals. If the proposal is accepted, you will receive an invitation to participate. The email will include information regarding the schedule and other details relevant to your presentation.

NOTE: Dates for the 2021 Conference are May 18 & 19, to be held in Greenville, South Carolina. 2021 conference speaker applications are due January 15, 2021. Speaker applications for other membership meetings are accepted on a rolling basis.
