* Before you begin your application for a Girl Board Member position, please:

Review the Girl Board Member Job Description in the Forms Library at www.gsema.org.

Be prepared to answer the follow questions:
Tell us about your Girl Scout experience:  dates that you participated in each GS grade level, and your favorite or most memorable activity from each
Tell us about the school you attend and current grade
*Essay: Why do you want to serve on GSEMA’s board of directors as a girl member?
*Essay: What are your goals for your future? Where do you see yourself in 20 years?

*We recommend typing out your essay responses in Microsoft Word first (before you fill out the application), then cutting and pasting them into the online application form. Please answer the essay questions in 200 words or less.

IMPORTANT:

Once you begin the online application, you cannot SAVE and return to it later. It must be completed in one sitting.

To complete the application process, you must also: 

1. Submit a resume or bio (email to: nominatingcommittee@gsema.org)
2. Secure two (2) online Recommendations via the questionnaire link provided on the GSEMA website. References submitted by relatives and family members will not be considered. If you need a copy of the link for your Recommenders, email nominatingcommittee@gsema.org.

Applicants are responsible for following up directly with Recommenders to ensure that their Recommendations are submitted by the deadline.  No extensions will be granted.
