Modern Apprenticeships 2025 Expression of Interest Form

This Expression of Interest (EOI) is for those working in heritage organisations in Scotland who are interested in taking part in our Modern Apprenticeship Programme.

A Modern Apprenticeship lets people earn a wage and gain an industry-recognised qualification through work-based learning. The programme is open to new hires and existing employees over 16 - there is no upper age limit. The apprenticeship typically takes 12 to 18 months to complete and there no cost to the employer, beyond the existing cost of the employees’ wages/salary.

The MGS Modern Apprenticeship Programme includes the following frameworks:
  • Museums Galleries Technician SCQF (Scottish Credit and Qualifications Framework) Level 7
  • Diploma in Digital Marketing SCQF Level 6
  • Management SCQF Level 6
