Commuter Student Mentor Request Form

Commuter Student Mentors (CSM) are current Monmouth University undergraduates who either commute to campus from a home or local/off-campus address. They are committed to helping new/incoming/transfer commuter students find their way at Monmouth University. CSM's know their way around campus and they about knowledgeable about many of the programs, offices and resources that exist. CSM's can help new commuter students become familiar with the University community and help students avoid some of the more common issues that can occur during a students' first semester in college.

Upon completion of the CSM Request Form, the Co-Lead CSM's will begin to assign mentors based on the preference of CSM's you have noted at the bottom of this form. If you do not have a preference for a specific CSM, please note so in the in question 3 by typing "No Preference".

CSM's will begin to contact first-year commuter students who have requested a mentor before the start of the fall term to introduce themselves, to learn more about the students they are mentoring and to find out how they can best assist their students with any questions they have now.
