Assessing the Needs of Grandparents Raising Grandchildren

Grandparents play a vital role in the lives of children. For those grandparents who serve as the primary guardians, there are both joys and unique challenges in ensuring grandchildren thrive. On behalf of United Way of Hernando County, and Hernando Schools', we invite grandparents to offer insight into ways you could be better supported. The purpose of this brief and anonymous survey is to gather feedback from our grandparents to identify ways the school district and United Way of Hernando could extend support to grandparents raising their grandchildren. United Way of Hernando County and other community partners will use survey responses to identify areas of need and develop an event to provide grandparents and caregivers access to local resources and information necessary to alleviate those gaps.
