Application - 2019

The Tribal Education Department is happy to announce we will be accepting applications for the 2019 Junior Master Gardener Program offered by the Native Youth Community Project (NYCP Grant) Growing Readers and Developing Leaders. To participate, you must be an enrolled member of the Gila River Indian Community. We are searching for the following students to submit an application to participate in the 4 week program in June where they will learn the basics of gardening and will be encouraged to engage in summer reading. 
Upon completion of the program, the participants will have all the basic knowledge needed to grow a sustainable garden of their own, be more involved in nature and community as well as have all the tools they need to make healthy food choices.

30– Elementary/Junior High Students (Ages:8-14 )

If selected, students and parents will be notified of received application. 

Application Deadline: May 24, 2019, at 5:00 p.m. - NO EXCEPTIONS
TRANSPORTATION WILL NOT BE PROVIDED TO THE SUMMER PROGRAM
