Introduction
The Surface Water Management (SWM) Division of Snohomish County provides a wide array of services to:
• Construct and maintain neighborhood drainage systems.
• Protect water quality in lakes, rivers, streams, and wetlands.
• Reduce flooding and erosion.
• Improve habitat for fish and aquatic wildlife.

SWM currently is conducting a comprehensive needs assessment of existing and anticipated future services through 2024. SWM will use information received from this online survey and other outreach activities to help guide decisions as to how we may improve or align our programs and services to best meet the needs and interests of our customers and the general public.
