The IWLCA Coaching Symposium will utilize current IWLCA member coaches to serve as facilitators for two small group workshops (held via videoconference). These facilitators will serve as role models and mentors for the participants in a smaller group setting. The two sessions will be scheduled by the facilitator during the week of April 22 and April 29 based on their availability and the availability of the participants assigned to their small group. Topics will include discussion about the realities of the coaching profession, setting boundaries, communicating with other staff members, and managing your job search.

* 16. The IWLCA Coaching Symposium events will be held on select dates in April and May 2024. Sessions will be conducted virtually in the evenings. While it is not mandatory for you to attend "live," it will be helpful if you experience the curriculum alongside the participants. If selected as a group facilitator, you will be expected to schedule two small group sessions (exact dates/times between April 22-28 and April 29-May 5 will be determined by the availability of the participants in your group), and will be compensated for your time. Typing your name below indicates that you have flexible availability during this time frame and will commit to participating in as many sessions as possible. An orientation session will be scheduled for the week of April 15, 2024 (exact date/time TBD).
