Hello AusIMM Southern Queensland Branch members. The SQB is in the process of putting together a masterclass on social licence to operate (SLTO) to be held in early 2020. SLTO is now the number one business risk facing miners and this Masterclass aims to teach AusIMM members about social licence and the changing nature of stakeholders expectations.

* 2. The day will start with background information on what is social licence, why is it important for mining industry professionals and the AusIMM policy/position. From there, case studies will be introduced for a variety of social licence topics. This topic is so broad that we can hope to cover everything in a day, so we want to hear from you on which topics would be most pertinent to your work.
