Note that this session is not limited to research! Get your ideas out there at this event. There will be ample time for discussion, partnering, and networking.
Criteria:
Research:
Past, ongoing, or future research ideas or needs on any African Great Lake or associated waterbody (e.g. lakes, oxbow lakes, rivers, marshes, etc.) Research topics include all sciences (bio-, geo-, limno-, socio-political, paleo-, etc.)
Projects:
Past, ongoing, or future or needed academic, development, research, community, projects.
Partnerships, funding, collaborations:
Present on how we, as a community, can enhance the efforts of our freshwater community to strengthen science, advance projects and programs, accelerate financial resources.
NOTE: You are responsible for printing the hard copy of your poster. The content should include a topic, Introduction, problem statement, methods, results and discussions, and conclusion and recommendations.
Deadline for poster submission is January 7th, 2025.
