Eastern Mass In-Person Multisig Class

Description:
This class is technically two classes, which are offered simultaneously and should not interfere with each other.  This is to say that if you are a beginner, great! You can enroll in the Multisig-101 class and no experience or prerequisites are required. If you have some experience with hardware wallets or multisig already and are interested in increasing your confidence or knowledge about your self-custody, the Multisig-201 class might be right for you!

Multisig-101:
This is considered an entry level class; no experience or prerequisites are required for you to complete this class.  The class will be spent allowing each student to set up three hardware wallets (Ledger Nano S, Trezor One and ColdCard Mk4) and then using them to build a 2-of-3 multisig wallet in Sparrow.  Laptops and hardware wallets will be provided for in-class use only.  DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN COMPUTER OR HARDWARE WALLETS.
You will walk away from this class with some hands-on experience building a multisig wallet that you can use when you setup your own wallet in the privacy of your home.  100% of our classroom material will be available to you before and after the class; this includes every step of the process we will go through as well as links to other on-line educational videos and support pages – the educational content has been open sourced and will be maintained up to date for as long as I host the class in the future.

Multisig-201:
This class assumes that you have already setup multiple hardware wallets and you do not need practice setting up or restoring these signing devices.  No multisig experience is required, but it is encouraged that you have at least some level of understanding about how these wallets are setup.  If you would like a primer on this, check out our YouTube video on Setting up a 2-of-3 multisig wallet in Sparrow.
In this class you will be restoring multisig wallets and signing transactions in a variety of different ways.  We will use Sparrow as well as Nunchuk and will sign with hardware wallets or with seed phrases directly.  If there is time, we will also cover how to encrypt your configuration file using VeraCrypt.  Laptops and hardware wallets will be provided for in-class use only.  DO NOT BRING YOUR OWN COMPUTER OR HARDWARE WALLETS.
