Candidate Letter of Support to SDOT’s Transportation Equity Workgroup
2026-2028 Term

Please use the following form for organizations to nominate candidates for the Transportation Equity Workgroup. All responses below will need to be filled by the community-based organization, group, coalition or network supporting the candidate.

If the candidate is selected to serve on the TEW, we ask that the organization commits to supporting the candidate’s participation on the TEW for the duration of their full TEW term. Organizational support includes ensuring the candidate can regularly attend and engage in TEW-related activities as part of their regular tasks and supporting candidate’s professional development growth on the TEW.

The letter of support is due by Sunday, November 30 at 11:59 PM PST.

If the candidate is selected as a Transportation Equity Workgroup member for the 2026-2028 term but is unable to complete their term commitment, TEW Co-Chairs and SDOT Transportation Equity Manager will consider if an alternative person from the affiliated organization applies to replace the original candidate's TEW seat.
