Hello R.H. Conwell Families,
Thank you for your patience as we navigate through the state’s guidelines regarding opening our summer program. Please complete the survey questions below. The survey results will assist us in planning our summer program. If you are interested in having your student participate in a summer program please complete the survey by Wednesday, June 24th.
Our summer programming will be at no cost to our families thanks to a grant the After-School Program has received from DESE. We may be able to do a combination of the options listed below. At this time, these potential options are based on the state’s guidelines on summer programming. The results of this survey will help guide our decisions.
Option 1: A remote learning camp with multiple themed activity bags for your student, including optional zoom class for campers to support the theme and to connect with each other.
Option 2: An in-person camp possibly starting July 27th and running up to 3 weeks. The hours may be 8:00 to 12:00 (The state’s guidelines limit us to being open only 4 hours per day). Camp would take place mostly outdoors at R.H. Conwell School with no field trips. Camp may be offered up to 5 days per week. Students and staff would need to follow the state’s guidelines including, but not limited to, health screening each day, small group sizes, social- distancing, and mask wearing when appropriate.
Option 3: A combination of one remote learning/activity bag and an in person program (in-person programming would be opened less days/weeks with this option)
