* 2. April Young Birders Meeting Tues Apr 9th from 7:00pm-8:30pm. Join us for a meeting about careers and callings for birds and beyond! We will have a chance to hear from people who have professional experience working with, and thinking about, birds and the environment. Olivia Sanderfoot, who is a PhD student studying the impact of pollution on wild birds, Chanelle Cadot, an Oceanography scientist working for NOAA, and Jenn Lang, a former field biologist and current community science coordinator will join us for the evening.
Make sure you come with a few questions for our awesome presenters!

* 3. Day Trip: Magnuson Park and NOAA campus Sat April 13th from 9-11am at the NOAA campus. Join us for a morning of birding with Michelle Levano around the NOAA campus.

* 4. Monitoring Secretive Wetland Birds at Discovery Park Sunday, April 14th from 9:00-10:30am. For our first PSBO monitoring we'll be at Discovery Park. Join us to gain service learning hours, engage in community science, and see some rare wetland birds! Meet at the North Parking Lot at 8:45am.

* 5. Overnight: Outer Coast Trip Sat/Sun April 27/28 Sat 9am pickup, 4:00 Sun return. We are heading out to Grays Harbor for two days of birding on the ‘outer coast’! With a campout on Saturday night. Please register HERE. *Registration is required.
