APPLICATION: TechSpark Academy - Cybersecurity Weekend @ Google 2020

Dear students, Thank you for your interest in joining TechSpark & Google for our collaborative cybersecurity weekend, on June 20th & 21st 2020 at Google’s Zurich premises!! Here are a few things to note before submitting your application: One weekend, two exciting events: Because spaces are limited, you will be invited to join either of two groups depending on your coding experience, motivation letter, and available spaces: Cybersecurity workshop group – 11h00-15h30 on either Saturday 20th or Sunday 21st (1 day event)
The one-day workshops include a full-day Cybersecurity introduction course by TechSpark team, Google Tour and TechTalks. Hackathon group - 10h30 - 17h00 Sat-Sun (2 day event), previous Python coding experience required.
The two-day Hackathon requires previous Python experience, and includes the same content as the one-day workshops above plus a cybersecurity quest.
For the Hackathon only
It is recommended that you prepare a motivation statement indicating why you are uniquely qualified for this program and what your motivation is. A CV (résumé) highlighting your academic and non-academic experiences is also recommended.
Administration
Hackathon applicants should be aged 13 or above and have their parents' permission to participate in this event. Workshops are open to students aged 12+.
We kindly ask that the application and attendance fee of CHF 250 be submitted upon completion of the application form in order for your form to be processed.
Scholarships With the support of the TechSpark Academy Giving Fund we are offering 5 Scholarships for out of town students and 5 Scholarships for girls. Please see requirements in the application form below. Good luck and we hope to see many of you in March! TechSpark Academy & Google Switzerland
