Dear Elk Point- Jefferson Staff, Parents, and Community Members,

As you may be aware, the school district has been working to develop a plan to update and expand our school. The process began earlier this year when a team of facility experts from ISG Inc. conducted a comprehensive facility assessment. The study identified the need to:

·         Address Building Maintenance
·         Add Classrooms
·         Enhance Safety and Security
·         Update and Expand Support Spaces

As the District considered potential solutions to these needs, they were committed to ensuring that all citizens have a “voice” in the planning process. Therefore, a Community Task Force, made up of approximately 25 community members, parents, and District staff was created to guide the process. The Task Force reviewed the facility assessment, toured the schools, prioritized potential projects, and provided feedback on building concepts.

The District now wants to hear from you on the proposed facility projects!
