District Presenter Application

The Lower Hudson Regional Information Center is proud to host the annual Tech Expo as part of the Technology Leadership Institute series of events. This all-day conference will be held on Friday, May 15, 2020 at the Edith Macy Conference Center in Briarcliff Manor, NY.

This year we are pleased to feature two nationally known keynote speakers: 
  • Manoush Zomorodi is a journalist, podcaster, and media entrepreneur;
  • Janell Burley Hofmann is the author of the book, iRules: What Every Tech-Healthy Family Needs to Know About Selfies, Sexting, Gaming and Growing Up.
Tech Expo features close to 30 breakout sessions focusing on instructional technology topics of interest to the educators and leaders from districts across the region.

The LHRIC is seeking qualified presenters to showcase their successful uses of educational technology in the K-12 environment during 50-minute breakout sessions. Please follow the below instructions to complete this online application to present at Tech Expo.


1. All applications must be submitted online through this survey form.

  • HELPFUL HINT: We recommend answering the open-ended questions in a separate document that can be easily saved and modified. When you are ready, simply "copy and paste" your responses into the appropriate text boxes, and submit!

2. Questions requiring a response are marked with an asterisk (*).

3. Deadline for application submission: Friday, March 27, 2020.
4. Each applicant will be notified via email no later than Monday, April 13th, 2020 regarding the status of their application.

5. Important: if your district is a member of the LHRIC TLI service, registration for this event for the presenter is complementary and will not count against the membership seat allocation. Additional seats are available pending availability at $ 175.00.
