This is a survey put forth by an Action Team of the Campus Compact of Oregon network.

The percentage of Oregonians of color is increasing rapidly, including our college students. Faculty and staff of color do not sufficiently reflect the growing diversity of our students. Campus Compact of Oregon's Recruiting, Retaining and Promoting Faculty and Staff of Color Equity Action Team is seeking to unite education advocates across our State and CompactNation, who are dedicated to meaningfully diversifying our institutions by ensuring there is a sense of belonging, meaningful structures of support and pathways for promotion for faculty and staff of color.

Our desire is to create a report that assesses this moment in time for Oregon. We are seeking to collate resources, effective practices, recommendations and persisting questions connected to this focus, for the purpose of advocacy and addressing barriers. Please consider submitting a practice you or your institution employ to recruit, retain and promote faculty and staff of color. A practice can be anything from institutional policies to specific programs which aim to cultivate a work culture of belonging for staff and faculty of color.

At the end of the survey, you can also submit recommendations or pressing questions you would like answered or want shared with a broad audience.

Disclaimer: by completing this survey, you are giving permission for Campus Compact of Oregon to synthesize the content of your response into aggregate results.
