St. Casimir Daycare Survey - Round 2

!!PLEASE READ!!

After much discussion and research within our St. Casimir's parish, we feel that we have determined what services we could potentially offer through the proposed daycare and also what our rates might be.  Please keep in mind that while we feel these services and rates are stable numbers, they are still subject to change.  Please also keep in mind that this is still a proposed center; there are still several hurdles that we need to clear before it can be fully approved, and there is no guarantee that we'll make it past those hurdles.

The proposed center will tentatively be open from 6am-6pm Monday through Friday.  We would be accepting children starting at 6 weeks of age, and are initially planning on charging $3.50/hour for all age groups.  We would be participating in the USDA food program; breakfast, lunch, and snacks would be free to those students who qualify.  We would be charging $1 for breakfast, and $2.50 for lunch for those students who do not qualify for food program assistance.  The daycare would be located in the "new" elementary wing of St. Casimir's School in Wells, Minnesota.  School-aged children attending the daycare will not be required to also attend St. Casimir's school; students are free to attend the school of their parent's choosing.  However, busing will only be arranged with United South Central.

If approved, we are hoping to be opening sometime in the summer of 2018.  We have some renovations that will be necessary as well as a lengthy licensing process (on top of our own parish/diocesan approvals), and so unfortunately will probably not be able to open earlier.

Thank you for taking the time to fill out this survey.  Your responses are crucial in helping us decide if we can move forward with this project.  The results of this survey are anonymous, so please leave a comment at the end of the survey with your contact info if you wish to receive further information as we move forward with the proposed daycare.
