FreeState Equality is committed to endorsing candidates who will advance the safety, dignity, and rights of LGBTQ+ Marylanders. This questionnaire evaluates your background, policy positions, and commitment to equity. Responses may be used in endorsement decisions and may be made public.
This year, we will only endorse candidates participating in races for Governor, County Executive, Maryland State Senate, and House of Delegates.
All responses must reflect your own knowledge, experience, and positions. Answer each question fully and honestly to the best of your ability. Do not rely on AI tools or pre-generated language. Responses should be original, specific, and grounded in your lived experience, public record, and policy understanding. Submissions that appear generic, scripted, or AI-generated may be subject to additional review.
The questionnaire is designed to be completed in one sitting and should take approximately 30 to 45 minutes. Please plan accordingly to provide thoughtful and complete responses.
