To Whom It May Concern,
As a resident of Creswell, I am writing in support of the City of Creswell’s application to fund the Garden Lake Park Master Plan. This plan is important to protect and improve the water quality and environmental health of Garden Lake and the park’s surrounding area. By improving the environmental quality of the park, we will also improve the recreational options (ex. fishing and swimming).
Garden Lake Park is an important part of the community, and thoughtful planning is necessary to ensure that Garden Lake Park reaches its full potential as a community resource for water quality as well as recreation. A Garden Lake Park Master Plan would allow the City to evaluate current water quality conditions, identify policies for habitat restoration, and develop long-term goals for recreational opportunities within the lake and surrounding natural areas.
Garden Lake is an important environmental asset for the community, and residents care deeply about maintaining clean water, healthy vegetation, and accessible natural spaces. I encourage your support for this grant application and for the City’s efforts to enhance the environmental quality and recreational opportunities for Garden Lake Park for the benefit of the Creswell community.
Sincerely,
