1. General Information

GLMA is committed to ensuring students—from across the health professions—are able to attend the Annual Conference. Therefore, we are able to provide a limited number of scholarships to help offset the cost of attending the Annual Conference. Student scholarships are available due to the generosity of GLMA members and conference attendees!

Students of all health professional disciplines are encouraged to apply. Applicants must be students currently enrolled (part or full-time) in an undergraduate or graduate/professional degree program with plans to pursue a career in the health professions.

Scholarship applications must be received by 11:59pm EST on August 17, 2016. Applicants will be notified of scholarship decisions by August 22.

After being accepted, a refundable $50 deposit is required to hold your place. The deposit can be made by completing conference registration online and selecting the “Student Scholarship Deposit” under registration type. In addition to the waived conference fee, volunteers will receive priority for reduced-rate student rooms at the host hotel ($99/night). Unfortunately, no travel funds are available.
