2021 Green Team of the Year Nomination

Thank you for nominating a candidate for the Madison County Green School Program's Green Team of the Year Award! This award recognizes a school's "Green Team" who has demonstrated a commitment to organizing, managing, and leading conservation- and environmental education-related activities as part of the Madison County Green Schools Program.

The winners of the Green Team of the Year Award will receive a $500 stipend to spend on projects related to resource conservation and environmental education in their school.

Nominees may be a combination of a principal, teacher(s), custodian(s), aide(s), student(s) or parent(s) who have the responsibility of carrying out "green" programming, such as recycling, waste reduction, or environmental education at any Madison County school enrolled in the Green Schools Program.
Self-nominations are accepted and encouraged.
No winners from the past 5 years may be nominated.
Entries must represent work (ongoing or completed) during the 2020-2021 school year.

No nominations can be accepted after 5 pm on Friday, April 23rd, 2021.
