2018 Youth Leader Interest Form

If you are interested in serving as a youth leader for the 2018 YOVASO Summer Leadership Retreat, please complete the following form and submit it by Friday, February 9, 2018.

Please note: You are required to complete this form even if you served as a youth leader in previous years.

3.Have you attended the YOVASO Summer Leadership Retreat? If yes, what year(s)?(Required.)
4.As a youth leader for the 2018 YOVASO Summer Leadership Retreat you will be required to lead a team of 10 students throughout the entire week. You will be expected to be engaged, enthusiastic, participatory, respectful, agree to the YOVASO Code of Conduct, and HAVE FUN! Please explain why you want to be a youth leader:(Required.)
5.What are some qualities you possess that make you a good candidate for this volunteer position? Please explain.(Required.)
6.To qualify as a youth leader, you have to attend the mandatory youth leader training at the Virginia State Police Driver Training Complex in Blackstone, VA. The training is April 21-22, 2018. Meals and lodging will be provided by YOVASO. You will have to arrange your own transportation. Can you attend?(Required.)
7.The dates for the 2017 Summer Leadership Retreat are June 17-21, 2018. As a youth leader, you are required to come down a day early, on the 17th, to help set up and prepare for the week ahead. You will have to arrange your own transportation. Can you commit to these dates?

Please note: Retreat registration fees will be waived for all youth leaders.(Required.)
