Introduction

The Minnesota Council on the Teaching of Languages and Cultures (MCTLC) is Minnesota's professional organization for all PK-16 world language educators. We are the Minnesota affiliate of the national organization, the American Council on the Teaching of Languages and Cultures (ACTFL). MCTLC supports world language education in Minnesota through public awareness efforts, advocacy initiatives, professional development and most importantly by creating a network of all PK-16 world language educators.

As an education professional, you will want to be informed about language initiatives across the state and on the latest developments in our field. MCTLC is the best way to network and connect with your colleagues in world language.

MCTLC would like to welcome you into our profession by offering this grant to attend the annual fall conference at no cost. We ask that you become a MCTLC student member ($30 - online form at www.MCTLC.org) to be eligible for the grant. Grant recipients preside over 2-3 breakout sessions where you will assist the speaker and distribute session evaluations.

Complete this online grant application. You will be notified of acceptance and receive more conference details by October 1. Pass this information along to your classmates, as many grants are available.
