Housing for the Aged Action group (HAAG) is a members- based, community organisation which focusses on representing the needs of older Victorians who are renting, in insecure housing or in retirement housing. HAAG are national leaders in the housing and homeless sector, influencing policy, practice & building awareness and understanding of older people’s housing issues within the community.

Our Home at Last service connects older people with long-term and affordable housing, information about housing options and retirement housing advice.

We are working with Val’s LGBTI Ageing and Aged Care and Switchboard Victoria on a project about older LGBTI+ peoples housing.

We want to better understand the housing circumstances and aspirations of older LGBTI+ people to help our service be more responsive to the needs of the older LGBTI+community.

This survey is confidential.  We will use the survey information to increase our knowledge, target community education and advocate to the government about housing issues for older LGBTI+ people.

*LGBTI+ for the purpose of this survey is defined as lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans and gender diverse, intersex, queer people, supporters and family members.
